Tilly Smith from England was on vacation in Thailand with her parents and younger sister. While on the beach, the tide started to rise and boats in the ocean started to hop up and down. Others watched in amazement, while Tilly remembered from her geography class just two weeks prior to her vacation that these were signs of a tsunami. She told her parents who alerted the hotel staff. That area was later evacuated and sectioned off. Over 100 lives were saved that day, all because of, Tilly Smith.
